On February 5, nearly 200 AIISF supporters gathered at the Hilton Santa Clara to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Immigration Station at Angel Island State Park. Assemblymember Paul Fong introduced our special guest, Representative Zoe Lofgren, who is chair of the House subcommittee on Immigration. She spoke about the importance of remembering Angel Island as our nation considers comprehensive immigration policy reform. AIISF board member Gerrye Wong concluded the program with a rousing call to action which helped raise over $16,000 for our educational programs.
We wish to thank the following table captains and sponsors for their dedication and hard work.
