The welcome center and gift shop is now open on the first floor of the Angel Island Immigration Museum! Visit us Saturdays and Sundays - 11:00 am to 2:30 pm

Located in the former hospital’s dining room, the AIIM Gift Shop carries unique and commemorative items that uplift the island’s history, encourage learning, and build empathy for immigrants—both past and present.

From Angel Island keychains, stickers, pins, and magnets to limited-edition products like holiday ornaments, postcard puzzles, and notecard sets, our commemorative gifts are only available at the Immigration Station site.

Discover items created by immigrant artists, authors, and filmmakers; build family connections with thought-provoking games and storytelling activities; and explore educational toys centered on language building and poetry play.

Getting to the AIIM Gift Shop

After departing the ferry at Ayala Cove, take the Perimeter Road 1.2 miles to the Immigration Station. You will find the two-story museum toward the bottom of the hill. Look for wayfinding signs marked “Hospital” to find the main entrance. There is no admission fee to visit AIIM.
