Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation has continued to champion the restoration of the Immigration Station to educate the public about this National Historic Landmark. The Immigration Station is a stark reminder of immigration policies that served to exclude, rather than include, newcomers into the broad mosaic that is the United States.Your contribution will enable us to update our traveling exhibit, Gateway to Gold Mountain, expand our Legacies Oral History Project and record the stories of the detainees, many of whom are now in their late 80s and 90s, and improve the online educational experience at www.aiisf.org.
Your donation will also enable us to add staff and launch the campaign to restore the Hospital building at the site in 2010, the year of the Immigration Station Centennial.
We thank you for your previous support. Your gifts have enabled us to reach thousands of people with the Angel Island story, which is still largely unknown and underappreciated.
Please consider making a generous gift. We also accept pledges that can be paid on a monthly basis. We are a 501(c)3 organization, and your gift is fully tax-deductible. We also accept gifts in stock. Please contact Grant Din at 415-262-4433 or a
