Room 206 was originally a Chinese men’s washroom with large sinks running along the north and south walls. After 1912, it was primarily used as a supply room for Chinese immigrants. Japanese prisoners of war also had access to the room during World War II.

Room 207 was built as a lavatory for Chinese men. It was later used high-security apartment for federal prisoners awaiting deportation. In 1925, three prisoners escaped from their quarters, leading to the end of federal prisoner detention at the site. By 1936, records show the space was used as a toilet room for Chinese immigrants.
