AIISF Announces a New Executive Director

We are excited to announce that Edward Tepporn will be joining AIISF as our new executive director. Ed is currently executive vice president at the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum working with former AIISF board president Kathy Ko Chin. Ed and his family immigrated from Thailand to Texas in the 1970s, graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, and has worked in the nonprofit sector for almost 25 years. Ed will be starting his new role November 1.

We look forward to Ed’s experience and leadership as we enter the 2019-2020 year and complete our work to re-open the restored Hospital building as the new Angel Island Immigration Museum next Fall.
