Misery and travail for so many long years;
Swept along hard roads, bitterness hard to express.
We must strive together to turn back the wild waves;
China from then on will show its great power.

Careworn is the wanderer in the wooden building;
How to bear harsh laws and confinement?
Cruel doctors found I have parasites;
My heart is pure, my words confused.
