Angel Island Immigration Foundation Station will be paying tribute to the hopes and dreams of immigrants and their descendants and recognizing the efforts of everyone who has worked towards the restoration of the former USIS Hospital.

AIISF’s Annual Gala will raise funds to continue bringing awareness of the experience of immigration into America through the Pacific. The Foundation provides financial support for the preservation and interpretation of the U.S. Immigration Station on Angel Island. It also collects personal stories and preserves oral histories through the Immigrant Voices archive.

At this event, we will honor four very special individuals for their unique contributions to promote the Foundation’s mission and work by presenting them with the 2020 Immigrant Heritage Awards:

Cecilia Chiang, Lifetime Achievement
Diasdado P. Banatao, Philanthropy
Jonathan Leong, Community Leadership
Casey Dexter-Lee, Spirit of Angel Island

Your support will ensure that the Foundation continues its vital work throughout the year, and this will be an evening to not miss with AIISF Executive Director Edward Tepporn as our emcee.
